Rodman 41 Fly – Maren
Well maintained Rodman 41 Fly from 2006, privately owned, EU-VAT and Spanish IEDMT (12%) paid and with impeccable ship documentation as well as maintenance history. This MY is equipped with the Volvo Penta D6 IPS500 diesel engines, each with 370 hp (570 operating hours, as of January 2024), which makes maneuvering in port a push-over. With a cruising speed of around 21 kn, the machines run at 2,800 rpm and a total consumption of approx. 90 l/h, the top speed is an impressive 30 kn at 3,500 rpm.
The soft refit in the interior is immediately noticeable as it is attractively designed and shows that the condition and service of the boat play an important role for the (German) owners. With a total of three cabins and two full bathrooms, this MY is particularly suitable for newcomers and families with up to three children. The owner’s cabin and the salon are equipped with Smart TVs, which can receive Netflix or Amazon Prime via the existing on-board network (Wifi 4G). In the salon there also is the centrally controlled air conditioning / heating, which can also be put into operation at sea using the installed generator (Paguro, VTE, 222 operating hours, as of January 2024).
In addition to the teak-laid cockpit with a height-adjustable teak table, the spacious aft deck offers a wide bathing platform, which currently serves as storage space for the 2.7m tender with 15 HP outboard engine (Surmarine 270, delivery July 2023, GRP hull and Hypalon tube, negotiable separately if of interest) and features an electro-hydraulic gangway with which the tender can be launched and the boat can easily be boarded at the jetty.
The flybridge is accessed via a staircase that is also made of teak. Protected from the sun by the bimini top, the docking maneuvers can be clearly controlled from here and the trips be enjoyed in a relaxed manner, either from the centrally located seating area with table or from the specially made sun pad astern. This Rodman comes with all the covers necessary for summer and winter to keep her in the current condition.
