Broom 530 – Wild Turkey
Very neat Broom 530 from 2003, first owner since new, privately owned, EU VAT.-paid and with impeccable ship documentation and maintenance history. This MY is equipped with the Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines, each with 660 hp (1.010 operating hours as of November 2023), as well as a bow thruster, making maneuvering in port a push-over. With a cruising speed of around 20kn, the engines run at 1,900rpm and a combined consumption of approximately 140l/h, the top speed is an impressive 29kn at 2,300rpm.
“Wild Turkey” offers a teak-laid deck on the bathing platform as well as the entire cockpit area. The tender (Avon 330 Jet Rib, Weber 72kVA engine, available by separate negotiation) can be lashed onto the bathing platform and comfortably lifted in and out with the adjacent electric davit. The upper deck has been equipped with a bimini above the helm station and the dining area at the rear, so that UV- and weather protection is available at all times.
Below deck, this Broom 530 offers two cabins with double bed and bathroom en-suite as well as a third cabin with single beds and access to the utility room. The spacious, bright saloon is fitted with a full-beam lounge area by the entrance and a fully equipped kitchen opposite the dining area to starboard – enough space to be able to relax and enjoy long tours with family and friends. The necessary comfort on board is not only ensured by the useful extra equipment, such as the KVH Sat.-Tv system or the washer-/dryer combination, but also by the installed generator in conjunction with the air conditioning and fresh water maker that enable to go on longer trips. During off-season / the winter months this Broom 530 has always been stored ashore / in a dry-storage place, where she is now available for viewings.
