Frauscher 858 Fantom – Joy
Well-maintained Frauscher – 858 Fantom from 2021 flying German flag, EU-VAT paid and with impeccable ship documentation as well as maintenance history. Equipped with a single, high-performance V8 Big Block Mercury 8.2L MAG engine this day cruiser does not only convince by the unique, sportive design by Frauscher but also turns out as a real “rocket” reaching up to 40 kn. Moreover, in combination with the bow thruster maneuvering in port becomes a push-over. With a cruising speed of around 23 kn the engine runs smoothly at 3,100 rpm and a total consumption of only 60 l/h.
«JOY» offers a white hull with a full teak deck covering the bow and cockpit area, the Bimini is cleverly hidden below the seating and can be easily set-up in two stages. The first stage provides shade for the helm station and the second for the aft cockpit and sun pad. Aft of the helm seats there is the possibility to mount a teak table for a nice “picnic” on board – the drawer type fridge keeps the refreshments in handy range.
This 858 Fantom is fitted with all amenities one could be looking for on a day cruiser, among that a full navigation and mooring package including a board computer and an electric anchor winch with stainless steel anchor, a fresh water tank feeding the deck shower, a Fusion radio with Bluetooth connectivity and much more… The small cabin may serve as storage for all toys but also allows for taking a rest when at anchor, – thus all family members can enjoy a beautiful day at sea!
