Princess V48 – Elma
Joystick control for Volvo IPS drives – Increased comfort is provided not only by the long list of extra equipment, such as tropical air conditioning in all cabins, the hydraulic gangway, the high-low bathing platform, and the tender garage currently accommodating a Jet Ski, but also by the installed Volvo manoeuvring joystick for the IPS drives, enabling the skipper to maintain full control at all times – even in difficult weather conditions.
Nicely maintained Princess V48 from 2015 under German flag, in second ownership since delivery, with EU VAT paid status and used exclusively for private purposes.
“Elma” is equipped with two powerful Volvo D6 diesel engines, each delivering 435 HP, as well as an IPS manoeuvring joystick and bow thruster, making docking effortless. With a comfortable cruising speed of around 23 knots at approximately 2,800 rpm, the combined fuel consumption is about 120 l/h. The maximum speed is an impressive 30 knots, making this V48 a fast open cruiser. On deck level, a spacious cockpit area that – in addition to the large aft sun pad with tender garage below and bimini on top – offers a sociable seating area with the BBQ unit directly alongside, allowing the “chef” to stay close to guests while enjoying al fresco dining. The electro-hydraulic bathing platform not only facilitates easy access back on board after a swim, but also provides sufficient space to securely store and easily lift a second tender or water toy on board, making the V48 an ideal platform for those who do not want to choose between a Jet Rib and a Jet Ski. On the foredeck, there is a generously designed bow sun pad, an area perfectly suited for enjoying beautiful summer evenings with a 360-degree view.
Below deck, a beamy saloon with a fully equipped galley and a comfortable dining area offers plenty of headroom and natural light. Forward and aft of the saloon are the full-beam cabins (Master and VIP), both featuring large double beds and ample storage, ensuring comfort even on longer voyages. Both cabins also have en-suite bathrooms with large, separate shower cabins. A level of comfort that sets the benchmark!
