Joystick control for Volvo DPI stern drives – Increased comfort is provided not only by the long list of extra equipment, such as the air conditioning in both cabins and the saloon, the powerful generator providing electricity whenever needed, the on deck, fully equipped wet bar including BBQ and ice maker, but also by the installed Volvo manoeuvring joystick for the new Volvo DPI stern drives, enabling the skipper to maintain full control at all times – even in difficult weather conditions.

“Wiki.Two” is equipped with two powerful Volvo D4 diesel engines, each delivering 320 HP, as well as a DPI manoeuvring joystick and bow thruster, making docking effortless. With a comfortable cruising speed of around 22 knots at approximately 2,600 rpm, the combined fuel consumption is only about 88 l/h. The maximum speed is an impressive 34 knots, making this C38 a fast open cruiser. On deck level, a spacious cockpit area that offers a sociable seating area with the BBQ unit directly alongside, allowing the “chef” to stay close to guests while enjoying al fresco dining. There are two generously sized sun pads: one aft, which comes with a filler cushion and can be converted from the lowerable teak table, and one on the foredeck, an area perfectly suited for enjoying beautiful summer evenings with a 360-degree view. Standout features of the Sessa C38 are the electric cockpit hatch that allows for easy and quick access to the engines and the aside storage compartment as well as the electric hardtop with glass inserts, providing additional light to the helm station and allowing for optimal ventilation of the cockpit while underway.
Below deck, a beamy saloon with a nicely equipped galley and a comfortable dining area to port side offers plenty of headroom and natural light. Forward and aft of the saloon there are the full-beam cabins (Master and VIP), both featuring large double beds and ample storage, ensuring comfort even on longer voyages. The VIP en-suite bathroom stands out due to its large, separate shower cabin. A level of comfort on a 38 footer that sets the benchmark!
